Limerick Fun

Perpetually petulant PeterPerceived that he passed by a cedar.    The tree, he surmised,    Was old by it’s size,And so pouting did Peter thus meter.

The above were all taken with my phone camera, which is why they aren’t very good quality.

Altered above, and original below.

The Spider in My Sink

Please tell me why a spider        Is living in my sink.I never let him in the door        For him to get a drink. He came in uninvited        And never told me why,But since he’s been inside my sink        I’ve seen no ant or fly.Although he’s pretty ugly        And is bad [...]

It’s the Cat.

Sam was doing so well; he wasn’t causing problems, he picked up on where the litter box and food bowl were, it was great. The only thing at first was he just wasn’t eating the food we got, and he really seemed to hate the stuff that the shelter gave us.  The poor, skinny, cat was [...]

Time Zones

I just have to love time zones and the international date line, because it’s not even noon… and Philip is experiencing tomorrow.  We’re in Thursday, and he’s in Friday.  It makes perfect sense, but it sounds so weird to say it.

Writing a blog post…

Takes a little longer when a kitten helps.  Samson is the smallest kitten I have ever seen, at least for his age and he is adorable, he’s a mini-cat.He really likes men, but I’m getting to be okay.I thought Athena was a climber and a jumper, but he is amazing.  It didn’t take long to [...]

More information. The name Samson came from when “N” first saw him in the animal shelter.  They pointed out the tiny little kitten  (all stretched out nose-to-tail he’s about a foot long) on the top of the cat-climber and then the little kitten ran full tilt into a full grown cat, head butted him, and knocked [...]
